ELECTRIFICFATION OF INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES

USING INDUCTION AND MICROWAVE TECHNOLOGIES

JOULIA accelerates the transition to clean, efficient, and sustainable industrial heating by developing and demonstrating innovative induction and microwave heating systems. The project aims to decarbonise industrial processes, reduce energy consumption, and integrate renewable energy while enhancing safety, efficiency, and flexibility. By delivering economically viable and environmentally beneficial solutions, JOULIA supports the EU’s goal of climate neutrality by 2050.

JOULIA envisions a future where industries adopt fully electrified, low-emission heating solutions to meet global sustainability targets. By proving the feasibility of these technologies, the project drives widespread adoption across sectors, reducing the industrial carbon footprint and strengthening Europe’s economic resilience. Through innovation, collaboration, and renewable energy integration, JOULIA leads the way in industrial decarbonisation.

Achieving JOULIA’s mission and vision relies on strong collaboration with key stakeholders across the industrial ecosystem.
