In the JOULIA Project, CIRCE serves as 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫, ensuring smooth collaboration, risk management, and compliance with European Commission standards. Beyond coordination, CIRCE also develops 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬, and supports conceptualisation, construction, and integration of JOULIA’s innovative induction heating system, fine-tuning performance through trials and installation. CIRCE also supports 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 for JOULIA’s technologies, in diverse industrial sites by assessing energy efficiency, flexibility, and GHG reduction , evaluating the impact of these technologies across multiple sectors in the EU.

In the JOULIA project, ARTIGO plays a vital role in overseeing the manufacturing and preindustrial trials of the induction heating system. Thanks to the cooperation with key partners, a novel induction heating system will be built and integrated into a prototype of a rotocure machine, electrifying the rubber vulcanisation process. ARTIGO oversees preindustrial trials, fine-tunes the equipment, and leads the seamless installation of this innovative system at their facilities, ensuring smooth integration with the current rubber production line.
During the TRL7 demonstration campaign, ARTIGO takes the lead in monitoring the induction heating demonstration site. By closely tracking key parameters, they ensure the continuous and efficient operation of the rubber vulcanisation process at their facilities, optimising performance and maintaining high-quality production!
