The JOULIA project will participate in the upcoming SET Plan IWG-Industry 2026 Annual Event & Networking Reception, taking place on 27 May 2026 in Brussels, Belgium.
Organised within the framework of the Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET Plan) and the SET-IndEU project, this year’s event is titled “Integrating industrial electrification in the energy system and supporting its deployment in all European regions”. The event will bring together industrial stakeholders, technology developers, policymakers, research organisations, and energy agencies to discuss the future of industrial decarbonisation and the deployment of electrification technologies across Europe.
The programme will focus on:
• Technological pathways for industrial electrification and energy efficiency
• Integration of industrial processes into the wider energy system
• Replication and dissemination of innovative solutions across sectors and regions
• Research priorities and future directions for industrial decarbonisation
The event will also include the presentation of A.SPIRE’s new Vision for the future Processes4Planet Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA 2028–2034), alongside networking opportunities with key actors from the European energy and industrial landscape.
JOULIA will attend the event to engage with relevant stakeholders, exchange knowledge with complementary initiatives, and contribute to discussions on sustainable and efficient industrial heating solutions.
